Seen a few on here who want him to be a future manager. Crossed my mind aswell a few times. Do people believe he'd have to leave the club first in order to get managing experience or would they be happy for him to step straight up from the u23s? Quite a tough one.

Depends. If he inherited us as an established CL side it might work. Otherwise total absence of any profile would be a major hindrance to player recruitment. His lack of first team experience counts against him for me personally. Can't say I'd be happy with his appointment. Besides he does an important job with the U23s why risk that ?

Beginning to see that Rhino is now becoming as important to Everton as the current manager and probably more so.

The development of the club's future starlets has been soundly placed on his shoulders and when you see us buying youngsters in for upwards of £5-6m as well as the manner in which he is bringing through our established kids his stock and the belief in him from within the club must be enormous. Along with the coaching staff working directly with and around him at the various age levels we must have one of the premier youth set ups in the world.

And as an aside, Suntan Bob's recent comments about the plans for the Old Lady post-Bramley Moore just confirms to me that this club gets better and better in so many ways with every passing day/week/month.

Proud and eternally grateful to have been chosen.

I hope we use Goodison for the academy/ women/ U23s.

Try and encourage full houses for games, be that free entry, nominal fees where the money helps EITC.

That would give us a huge advantage when recruiting youth. Play at a real stadium in front of crowds as they progress.

Unsworths role in bringing through star players would be as important if not more so than the 1st team role.

..I suspect the costs of maintaining a 40k stadium will be significant.
