Always remember in derby (think it was mcallister free kick game) when we had a pen and carragher spent ages stood in front of the ball delaying and doing everything to put him off before getting booked for it. Unsy not phased in slightest and drilled home at st end to equalise. Shame about the final outcome.
Yep Gwladys Street, they were up to all their tricks,as I said previously, balls of steel!!

really like what hes doing ! he's building a team below a team ! seems set on what he wants and really driving it forward ! its like we've actually got an Everton B team ! making transfers! loaning players out ! when the 1st teams needs someone they'll be ready !

Looks like a decent coach. lets be honest thought he looked class when breaking into the team!!! as soon as he played for England it went downhill.
True blue though and my personal favourite penalty taker for Everton (for some reason i never feel comfortable when Baines steps up)

...he was an ok footballer I suppose. Good enough to earn a single England cap against Japan (if I remember rightly).

Was that because it was at Goodison, too put a few extra on the gate?

Wembley wasn't it

...I thought it was at Wembley but I can't remember that detail.

I thought it was GP because it was a mini tournament with Brazil and Japan. These two played at Goodison

I was at that game, felt like a hopeful time
It certainly did mate, funny enough so did the last game of Martinez' reign, when Unsy and Big Joe took the helm? The passion and purpose, plus seeing some good young kids was a massive morale booster. Maybe Unsy is destined to be the second Howard Kendall? Lead us to glory and all that?

Maybe he will have to go to a smaller team to earn his Management stripes, rather like Howard Kendall did? Great player, for Everton and seems to be doing a awesome job for the youth ranks.... long may this continue
