David Unsworth appreciation thread

Come on Zat, it was no mark game against a team that had been relegated and didn’t really care much.

Let’s see if that brand of football is evident against Chelsea and possibly Leicester

Yes, that will be interesting...I think we'll smash both of them...fans will be manic.

The thing with Unsworth is that you imagine he has a great relationship with the youth coaches and also the young players...

Due to this people will not be afraid to approach him which brings a togetherness into the club...

He can harness this within the club and also he has the fans massively backing him.

The players should respond to this.

Also, we know that hiring a big name ex barca with an average managerial record doesn't work, we also know from this that the manager buying into the club is key

Unsworth has rebuilt teams, sees players go off on loan...promoted players willingly and ...been in the media championing them.

Hes the ideal manager on paper.
......and they all lived happily ever after.
The End.
Meanwhile back the real world....

Am stoked for Unsy. Next couple of games will be a working job interview for him. If he's still interim manager by the time Watford come to town, I hope Goodison give him a massive reception. It will leave a big impression on Kenwright and Moshiri no doubt.

Shearer was and is a tosspot. He’d done nothing before getting off the couch and taking over with a fanfare. Unsy has put the hours in, won an U23 title and generated a shedload of young talent. Absolutely no comparison...........

Agree but still unsure, lets see how it goes for the interim period, two very big important games coming to restore some pride.
