Thought you wanted Robbie Keane the other week.
Pretty sure I've never said that.
But, he would be worthy of having an interview with. He has done his time as an assistant and doing well in Europe as a manager.

Nah you must of at some point, I wouldn't suddenly have Robbie keane floating around my head..Pretty sure I've never said that.

Personally liked the circa 2000s teams that Moyes built/inherited, do not have anything against the team builder Moyes. But need to let egos go, if we want Everton to do well on the field. Would benefit from him having tied incentives in his contract for fielding younger players. I am a big fan of Mourinho, still am, but sure as heck he will not play the youngsters either. The only hope being that money we spend is actually on the pitch however it works out, instead of rotting on the bench. I do understand that the comment that "It'll do him no harm to have sat back for the best part of the season and looked at it." is infuriating.
He sounds like a chelsea manager, after 2 consecutive losses. But kind of wish he had a more senior role instead of being team manager. When he handed Keane an extension the other day and then 'explained' to everyone how far young players have got to go and how only 25% of his signings are expected to be a success here, I think it broke the will of all but the die-hards who back him.
Those comments and deeds cant be right for a club like this: poised to attempt to launch a return to being a highly competitive organisation.

Maybe it was around the Spurs vacancy
I don't mind him being incharge of the direction of the club like ranieri at roma.Yeah, probably he just wants money and a bit of status.
Cant help think he'd be divisive behind the scenes though.
Except the relationship between Gasperini and Ranieri has broken down. Which is what always happens with a backseat driver. Managers should never "move upstairs", it never goes well.I don't mind him being incharge of the direction of the club like ranieri at roma.
Before the season literally 99% of evertonians said stability was what's required this season.
Stability has been delivered in spades and instead of being happy, a majority of the fans have moved the goalposts so its Europe or failure.
Exactly what I was saying, we are a stable mid to lower table side. Before the season literally 99% of evertonians said stability was what's required this season.

Moyes should hire an underling to run the club. Structure and Recruitment, still under his purview.Except the relationship between Gasperini and Ranieri has broken down. Which is what always happens with a backseat driver. Managers should never "move upstairs", it never goes well.
