We and West Ham both have to win.
A draw for us is not enough with City next. For West Ham anything other than a win and Spurs can leapfrog them.
He has to go for it and also show the fans and the squad that performances in games are based on merit.
That means no McNeil or Barry and starting George and Dibling.
Dibling false 9 as hes done for England u21s with Ndiaye and George wide.
Change things up a bit and give some other players a substitute chance before West Ham change tactics and he has to react.
No faith in Moyes to make an exciting move or two here and go for the win.
He'll try and grind it out with Barry up top.
I struggle to see where “performances in games are based on merit” and “bringing George and
Dibling in” can exist in the same sentence Zat? I agree 100% with you that he needs to change things up, but so far
Dibling has delivered no performance in a blue shirt that merits inclusion (in my opinion at least). I would much rather he plays George on the left and goes with Illiman up front personally.
When McNeil (inevitable starter) is goosed, i.e. 25 minutes after kick off, I would prefer he brings on
Rohl or Charlie, who will at least run directly at the opposition (as will George hopefully). George,
Rohl and Alcaraz have all flattered to deceive in the little game time they have had, but Dibling hasn’t even done that. I fully wish he would, but he just hasn't mate, and can’t be showing it in training, or he would at least get some cameos surely?
