2025/26 David Moyes

Swearing (virtually) at the end of the PC, thought that was funny.

I think hell probably play Barry but his careful responses reading between the lines he's letting us all know Barry is in the bad books.

Except it is just disingenuous isn’t it? He’d forfeit the game before playing a youth player. Barry will play. As will all his other crap favourites.

He converted Arnautovic and Antonio into strikers, so I’m not sure he doesn’t know anything different.

We and West Ham both have to win.

A draw for us is not enough with City next. For West Ham anything other than a win and Spurs can leapfrog them.

He has to go for it and also show the fans and the squad that performances in games are based on merit.

That means no McNeil or Barry and starting George and Dibling.

Dibling false 9 as hes done for England u21s with Ndiaye and George wide.

Change things up a bit and give some other players a substitute chance before West Ham change tactics and he has to react.

No faith in Moyes to make an exciting move or two here and go for the win.

He'll try and grind it out with Barry up top.

False 9 seems best option

I have to ask, so unless Moyes puts on a player who has done nothing every time we’ve seen him and a 2nd player who has done marginally better you would class it as us not going for it???

I could understand if every time we’ve seen Dibling he has shown us something But he he hasn’t, and George is still very raw.

Seems strange to pin it on two kids who’ve done nothing. And before you say has Dibling been given a chance, he has and he hasn’t produced a single bit of good football in the times he’s come in the pitch. Moyes doesnt trust him yet or feels he need time to develop.

If Moyes starts Dibling as a false 9 I'll be convinced he's been murdered and a doppelganger put in his place.

With Beto out today, and Moyes hinting that Barry might not start, and Graham likely on the bench at best, playing Ndiaye up top seems like our best bet.

Tyrique George could probably do a job there too.

But if he decides to stick Merlin Rohl up front just to hoof it and hope for headers, like he used to do with Marouane Fellaini... then it's official. David Moyes is well and truly past it. Same old Moyes, stuck in the dark ages.

I’m not saying he’s perfect by any means but I like the fella and am happy to unashamedly admit that.

I think he’s the right fit for us at the moment and as cliched as this is (and it really is) he gets Everton.

He/the 2007-12 team deserved a trophy by the way.

Why did he deserve a trophy?
