2025/26 David Moyes

We could benefit from a formation change like Leeds. Teams don’t seem to be able to handle their new shape with the wingbacks and two centre forwards. Been watching 4-4-1-1 for the last 20 years and I’m ready for something different now.
Aye, thatd work if we had wingbacks, we currently have 4 centerbacks.

Which of our managers has changed formation in the last 20 years? Apart from Koeman when he went 3 at the back a handful of times?

As a club we are wedded to 4-4-1-1. I’d be willing to be whoever comes in after Moyes will be rigidly stuck to it as well.
Nice idea but we will need to get some wing backs first

JOB and Myko as marauding wingbacks would be funny
Would need plenty investment for the switch, and Glasner

Glasner it seems is annoyed as hes not being backed and seeing players sold.
Get his frustration though, as Palace really isn't backing him much for giving the best time in their history.
Unless Glasner had been living on Pluto he would have been aware of Palace's business model. We buy players, develop them and sell them on. It's how we've stayed up for 13 seasons.
We have added Munoz, Kamada, Sosa, Lacroix, Benitez, Pinot, N'Ketiah and Sarr. In addition we wrote off between £30m and £65min Guehi transfer money. This at the same time as rebuilding the main stand.
Glasner has been backed.

How much is the net spend under Glasner? I was under the impression that you'd barely spent the fees received from sales...

Any club can spend money that it hasn't got. We have no debt and the club, which has been in administration twice this century spends what it can afford. Glasner has been backed by identifying the players he wanted and the club buying them. In those circumstances net spend is irrelevant.
