2025/26 David Moyes

This sort of sums up Moyes 2.0 for me...

Time will tell for the answer to that question, but given his stock is at it's highest I think it's a fair shout to say a number of clubs at home and abroad in the UCL will be wanting him in the summer. I think he looks tailor-made for Spurs, the RS might have a vacancy, Pep might not want to do another year etc. He wont be short of offers.
He’s not stupid, champions league clubs in the likes of France( not PSG) Germany ( not Bayern/dortmund ) and the usual suspects like Holland etc. are not as big a pull as you think, the premier league is massive. And a lot of If’s there mate. City won’t go for glasner. I’d be surprised if Liverpool would, also Liverpool don’t sack managers. Spurs maybe but Irola will also be available

Time will tell, I'd just be very surprised if the likes of Glasner and Ireola end up swapping one mid-table-esque job for another if there are bigger/better options available.

It’s not really swapping mid table for mid table, Thomas Frank went backwards last season on league placings with spurs and Brentford. We’re much bigger than both of them clubs.
It’s up to TFG to convince the next manager that we’re a big club on the up.

Harldy a fair comparison. Spurs had their worst season in 35-odd years of the Prem era which equates to roughly par for the course of our last few years. Spurs are obviously a big step up from Brentford in every way, shape and form and are playing UCL football. Not a 'backwards step' because they had 1 blip in 3 decades IMO.

We can put our blue-tinted specs on an shout about how we're "bigger" than Palace or Bournemouth because forty years ago we won something, but I'd wager the likes of Glasner and Ireola couldn't care less about who did what in nineteen-eighty-somethingorother.

TFG absolutely do have to sell the club -or "the project" as it must be called (its the law!)- I just can't see either of those guys passing up a top job or UCL job to come to a club that is currently a step behind the jobs they are already in.

The REAL question is can we go and find the likes of Glasner and Ireola and the guy at Brighton before those kind of clubs do. I think we'll have more success that way than being at the back end of a queue for someone whose stock is higher than ours.

Just been listening to Glasner's post match interview: he isn't a happy bunny. Demanding that 'the mistakes' of the Palace board not to bring two more players in during last summer are wiped out by January signings as what he has right now is going to cost them as the season progresses.

Hes deffo looking for another job.

If these owners are serious about moving us onward and upward they need to secure someone like him for next summer. Get him signed up behind the scenes.
If we could get him, that that would be a brilliant choice.

Also like both the Bournemouth and Brighton managers

I've not been on here for about 2 months. Probably because last time I was on here I had a bit of a mental health crisis, and had my first drink binge in many a year (i'm a long term recovering alcoholic). I decided to call it it quits, because even one or two poorly worded drunken posts can quickly make you look a knob. However, I reckon I could knock back 2 litres of vodka and still not post anything even half as embarrassing some of the half baked drivel that has been posted since that game last night.

How many times have palace and Bournemouth finshed above us in 30yrs? Yes we’ve had a few tough years, but we haven’t been in the doldrums for 30yrs. We were in Europe only a handful of years ago. You can play us down as a club, crack on but I won’t. We got Koeman to
Leave 6th placed Southampton to join 11th placed Everton. We’re much bigger than Bournemouth and place and that’s a fact. And Glanser and Irola will both know it. That’s not to say they will join

Also spurs won their first trophy in years last season. And even without champions league football, Frank would leave Brentford for spurs every day of the week
