A spoon to a gunfight.
That’s absolutely not an acceptable thing for him to be saying.

Mainly because Moyes is pretty resistant to give any sort of details about that kind of thing. Not just what is said in the dressing room, but information about training, player fitness etc. He keeps things purposefully vague.I agree it matters more, but don’t think his public comments aren’t important.
And if he is saying those comments out to us, how do we know he isn’t echoing them to the squad?

But we need to see progression,Moyes results are actually decent compared to what we've had recently though. I suppose the biggest question I ask myself is this: does another manager come in and have this team doing better? The answer is probably not. There's flaws throughout the squad. It's not like we're massively under performing right now.
That’s absolutely not an acceptable thing for him to be saying.
Which I’m fine with! Just keep who you think are better overall teams purposely vague too!Mainly because Moyes is pretty resistant to give any sort of details about that kind of thing. Well he can perform miracles and probably get about the pitch more than Buddha and Ganesha, unless you meant Gabriel Jesus from Arsenal who has been a shadow of his former self for years when not out with one endless injury after another on a massive wage, which would be typical Everton.Yeah. I like Barry but he’s clearly still developing. We need a senior to come in and take the main responsibility. Jesus could be a good signing if that is actually true.
That’s absolutely not an acceptable thing for him to be saying.
But also a very predictable thing for him to be saying.
It's Moyes.
He could do the double talk thing:Which I’m fine with! Just keep who you think are better overall teams purposely vague too!
What we had recently was a financial crisis that led to points deductions. Of course he's getting better results than the poor saps he succeeded. However, with new owners, another manager who can attract players is already an upgrade on Y-Fronts Moyes. Another manager who doesn't genuflect at the throne ofReal MadridNewcastle bloody United might also stand a chance of getting a few more results.
I'm finished with Moyes. Tonight's comments prove the leopard cannot change his spots. He couldn't rouse his players after a superb result and so falls back on knowing our place. He's not suitable to lead this club.
