2025/26 David Moyes

Yo
I jumped up when the goal went in but I'll be honest the second half did little for me. Backs to the wall scraping a result to move us from 14th to 11th? I've done that enough. I get the circumstances were what they were, but I go back to what I said. What is the goal here? And then I guess following on from that, how are we going to achieve that? I don't see it right now even a little bit.
You have no emotional attachment to the club. Its like football manager to you. All about the process, patterns of play, xgs and the like .
If you can't enjoy wins like that night then its not really for you is it .

Imagine we hadn't won last night: today we'd have had a rabble fighting with each other on the pitch and getting sent off and no improvement whatsoever.

The fact is we got extremely lucky last night playing a United team shorn of a few quality players.

Anyone who sees a plus there for Moyes presiding over that lack of respect and discipline needs their heads feeling.

That was a really positive performance from Moyes. Not sure how you could see it any different. We went to win, and did.

I need to start printing some of these out, thank you Dave K :)

….you could see the doubters queuing up ahead of this one but its only November and he already has us above RS in the table :bye:

Doing a terrific job.
What was your points target for December that you used to decide if it was a good season?

I'm sure this is something you've mentioned in the past

Fair play to the manager yesterday, many of us all went into last night with absolutely no hope given both the club's and Moyes's record away at the big grounds. But to get the win under the circumstances last night was incredible, Moyes made good subs at good times and I think it shows the buy in the players do have with him when the likes of Ndiaye and Grealish are playing as auxiliary fullbacks in order to grind out a win.
