2025/26 David Moyes

Can't see too many changes he can make - incremental ones like giving Alcaraz more time, perhaps Rohl too. Stop swapping strikers so much.

He's not dropping NDiaye, Grealish, Gana, Garner, O'Brien, Keane, Tarks, Pickers or Myko unless he is forced to.
If Moyes gave Charly as much time and patience as Beto and Barry I think you'd see a lot better player in there as many fans also seem to think.

Nice dodge, but you’ve just answered my questions without realising.

Why are you talking about Alcaraz in Moyes thread if he’s got nothing to do with Moyes….
I think Moyes is playing what is largely the best team available. The results are more the result of a squad that is not good enough at this moment in time rather than due to one player or another who could be transformative being stuck on the bench.

That’s why the Alcaraz debate is strange - his number simply don’t suggest he is good enough to make a difference. We need to sign some better players in multiple positions.

I would rather see Dibling get some more game time ahead of Charley, but Ndiaye is a better player.

The picture looks different when you average Martinez full 2 seasons (very close to Moyes average).

Of every worse, include the third season he was here for most of (becomes worse than Moyes average)
The picture looks different when you look with your eyes....the last time we enjoyed the football rather than just the meet up with mates at the match every weekend was under Roberto. We actually went pretty much everywhere with the intention of winning. We didn't achieve it every week, but in the majority we tried it. Under Moyes I can't honestly say the same. Too many games over the whole of his tenure have been frustratingly cautious affairs and against the 'top' teams we're beaten before we start because of his inherent inferiority complex.
Moyes wouldn't be my choice of manager but I understand why TFG brought him back. I'll also understand if they send him on his way before the season is out.

What has Alcaraz got to do with Moyes? He has not shown he is up to it yet.

I simply do not understand why some people are so take with a guy who has produced very little so far.
Are you talking about Alcaraz or Moyes?
I don't understand how people can be so taken with the latter when you consider how little excitement his teams have delivered.

Don't rate Charly, ok.
We are rubbish , aren't we?
Why Dibling is screwed on the bench? A 40 millons player just warming the seat?
