As much as I have criticised David Moyes for his (what I determine to be) defensive, post-defeat comments against what he determines to be better sides, i must also admit he deserves real credit for his away performances under the cosh this season. We've been absolute granite at times, and I hope it gives him and the team more confidence moving forwards - they deserve it.

Moyes has made us a competitive club again. May not be where we want to be in league position long term but it's so much better than what we've had to endure for about 5 seasons.

He was ordinary against the Sportwashers too but Guardiola strangely was raving about how good he was in the post match interview

I love Moyes, but he doesn't exactly overpraise the squad players does he? The best they get is a pat on the back for how hard they work, but he almost always says something about how we lack quality. I wonder what it must be like for the squad players, knowing that he really doesn't rate them?

Not saying he's wrong, we do lack quality, but I'm not sure I'd be saying that at every interview if I was the manager of a team.
