He wasn’t at United long enough to make more than a couple of signings and Sunderland were rooked. He wasn’t allowed to sign players at Sociedad - he was the coach.
At West Ham he is literally their most successful manager in decades and won them a cup. He is their best league manager of all time.
Mate, look it up. Moyes and Steidten were almost coming to blows and Moyes almost walked out on the club.
Edit - to make it easier:

Sensational claim made about incident behind the scenes at West Ham
And it could dictate key man's future if true...www.hammers.news
Doesn't that article just pretty much confirm that Moyes hates working with a DOF and want's full control on transfers?
The next 2 windows will answer alot of questions..
I've made that point loads. My opinion on the man is one based on decades, not any short term run of results.
I defended Moyes after bad results asking why fans say he's great one moment, terrible the next when they should have a more settled view on a manager that has managed the club for over a decade.
Doesn't mean I can't share an opinion.
Indeed.
Though Id rather we didn't bring him back and got to the summer and appointed someone else. But alas.
Moyes is a record breaker.
Most losses in the league cup as our manager.
Most losses in Europe as our manager.
Most losses in the FA Cup as our manager and not getting a win.
Serial loser.

I do but not to BS.I doubt it, you seem incapable of listening.
Tin foil character you probably in your granny basement.Progress on Dyche, maybe. Progress on last season, highly debatable. The rest is Moyes doing what he does best, managing expectations.
I do but not to BS.
We haven't got points against Chelsea away and the league leaders at home with a weakened team so obvious the knives are out straight away with a vengeance.Have I missed another point deduction?
Why are we acting like we're nailed on to finish 12th or 13th all of a sudden?
Dude, that's all BS. You're the footballing equivalent of a flat earther. This is just basically Moyes is better than a load of poor managers who came after him, so we should be happy we have him. The guy isn't a great manager and his record of 2 trophies in a quarter of a century of managing bears this out, as does the season he bombed out at Man Utd. He's not going to win us a trophy and he ain't getting us back into the top 4 even if he's here for another 5 years. His recruitment when he has money to spend sucks. So frankly, what's the point in sticking with him past the summer?
Tbf, DCL may be handy right nowLaughing.
Yeah, shame we dont have the likes of Doucoure, Calvert-Lewin, Harrison, Lindstrom etc

Most people are morons Matty. Think about how dumb the average person is and then factor in that most people are even dumber than that.but we have brought him back and yes people can have an opinion IMO
but to say sack him every time we lose
is ridiculous
Your friend clearly doesn’t have a clue. The only Moyes era guys left are Areola, Soucek, Bowen, Paqueta and James Ward-Prowse.I have a very good West Ham contact.
They've not seen Moyes' contract but said that he may as well have had decisions on new signings written into his contract.
He's furious at the money Moyes blew and puts todays situation 80% at the doorstep of Moyes for spending so much money on dross. Locking the club into years of payments on substandard players.
Appreciated the job he did for them, always thankful for the trophy etc but while thats a great memory...today theyre goosed. All they have to show for it is Bowen & a cup.
Edit: Forgot that he also said Moyes was on a bad run when he left.
I think this is spot on.
If we sign senior pros we know hes here to stay.
If we sign younger high potential players things may be looking up.
