2025/26 David Moyes

I dont accept our squad quality is bottom half of the table. No chance.

And so what if Moyes didn't utlilise the £110M he had wisely. He still spent it. If he had half a clue what a decent striker looks like...and in his first time here he was notoriously 💩 at buying them...we'd be knocking on the door of top 4 at least.

He's done ok. We're top half where we should be. That's as much as can be claimed, so far. If we stay there he should keep his job. If not he should be sacked. I've said that from day one of the season and I wont deviate from it.
Come on.
We don’t have full backs.
Our best centre back has been injured all season.
You constantly call Tarkowski a yard dog and nobody wanted Keane near a starting eleven before the season started.
We don’t have a striker.

…and you think we have even the tenth best team in the country?

Also I seriously doubt Moyes chose how we were spending the money, that’s not how football works now. Do you really think Moyes would’ve chosen to sign Barry!?

I think it's fair to say Dyche had to manage with a small and limited squad, and that Moyes has a slightly better squad, which he is utilising fairly poorly thus far, failing to develop the young players we've bought and stumbling across the right position for KDH, who he has now overplayed when he admits he was carrying an injury. His limited management style is ok for a team of older players in rigid positions, but it's clear that the ownership want young players they can develop and he is not the man for that job, so barring a miracle that sees us qualify for Europe I expect us to appoint a new manager in the summer.

Players culled so far: 15
Virginia(OOC), Begovic(OOC), Coleman(OOC), Young(OOC),Keane(OOC),Gueye(OOC),Doucs(OOC),DCL(OOC),Holgate(OOC), Maupay?,
Alcaraz(LR),Harrison(LR),Lindstrom(LR),Broja(LR),Mangala(LR)
There is a slight anomaly in here, Alcaraz was signed on loan with a clause for games played meant purchase, which was activated, so his loan return (LR) isn't correct. maupay had been sold already as part of the Ndiaye deal, and then Coleman, Keane and Gana got new deals.
Throw the miracle Chermiti sale in, and the loans of Armstrong and Onyango in.

It's properly Olympian mental gymnastics to class all of these outs from the squad as just 4 players. But very little surprises me out of that particular account.

Surely you are not suggesting that figures are manipulated to suit an agenda !
