2025/26 David Moyes

Just hope no one comes sniffing around for Skilliman, Branthwaite or KDH in Jan or the summer.
“I also know that if I'd been Everton manager and Sir Alex had come asking for Leighton Baines and Marouane Fellaini, I'd have found it very difficult to keep them because I always felt the right thing to do was what was right for the players”

I mean, is this seriously what you’ve been reduced to in order to have a pop at the manager?

And playing some lovely football too. The players clearly respect him and love playing for him. We haven't had this number of ballers in the team for a very long time. It's now completely normal to see our players taking the ball under pressure in tight areas, controlling the ball on the half turn and zipping passes about. KDH in particular has been a joy to watch lately. Fantastic ability on the ball.

there’s more to come aswell and also think we will wallop someone to

Wondering whether Rohl may make a significant impact by the end of the season, offering
- the difference to the team becoming too easily read by other managers as seasons wears on.
- he may be a much more improved version of the Doucs role, perhaps more effective than Fellaini with a wiser Moyes at the helm.
- the possibility to play Illy in the middle (poor timing, but if Barry doesnt kick on), with Rohl as the foil, and bring in Dibling or McNeil, with Alcaraz as backup to Rohl or Illy.
- He seems like he would be a handful to defend when getting the box and may be an answer for the starlets to unlock some of the defences.

All this without our best defender by a mile. Branthewaite's distribution will really come into its own with Grealish KDH and NDiaye to play to. If only we had at least one attacking fullback. Mykolenko gets into some great positions but the level of his crossing is just completely unacceptable for a premier league footballer.

we’re building one not selling one

There's only 2 or 3 teams in the world that aren't selling teams. Deal with it.

why can’t people just be happy mike?

we’ve been a laughing stock for years

we’re slowly playing catch up

the usual just want to keep having a dig for digging sake

It's a form of Stockholm syndrome matt, they've become comfortable in the fan role of the "spoon to a ak47 fight" glass ceiling thought process.

Thry don't want us to be up in the champions league/Europe chase because it exposes them and their frailties to the kopites they know in their home life as there's no, but we're a bit shabite back door if we're up there.

They want our better players sold so we stay in their comfort zone.

Dyche was ideal for them, moyes is a problem
