2025/26 David Moyes

I can't wait to see the back of Moyes and I think Lampard might be a good choice again, done really well at Coventry and has gained a lot more experience since he left us last time.
Why, when there's far better out there? glasner or Iraeola would be miles better. Even Marco Silva (although I wouldn't personally go back).

We are Everton. We are not bill kenwright's Everton anymore.

Yeah terrible that. I do feel that at Roma TFG have shown they aren't afraid of swinging the axe. Imagine Kinnear has been telling them to stick with Moyes and the '2 window plan' so if it all goes tits up then its likely they will both be on the chopping block.

Time will tell i guess. Personally I’d rather they both do great because it means Everton will do great. The CEOs message was embarrassing to be honest and Admittedly I don’t like the manager, his attitude and way of playing but I would happily praise him if he delivered success here

Right now i don’t think it’s happening plus his idea of what success actually is , it doesn’t mean much in the grand scheme of things .

Yeah that I'm not so sure about. Never really know what gives people that work in these kind of roles a good reputation in football. Iirc there was talk of him having a lot of corporate connections and playing a big part in all the new sponsorship deals we got.

But that has sweet f all to do football and picking/sacking managers. Probably a reason that Moyes has ended up with so much power. I know that Leeds fans did not like him at all and he certainly appears to have made some very poor choices there. Was him appointed Jesse Marsch I think?
We all know people that, in corporate culture, when they get to a certain point they fail upwards. I was at a company in sales and there was a highly respected financial guy that became interim CFO because the last one passed etc. He decided he wanted to move to the sales side and they made him a director over 8 guys. Within the first year 5 left and his sales were down by 13%. No worries, let's promote him to National Sales Manager. Sales were stagnant. No worries, let's make him oversee an entire division now.

You see where I'm going with this? No idea the logic but some people have blinders on when it comes to others abilities and achievements and reward them for things they failed at.

That's our lad here at CEO.
