2025/26 David Moyes

Didn’t you hear you can only ring potential players when your mobile phone is in the UK?

Christopher Beesley from the echo is writing puff pieces on Moyes daily now.

Reminds me of when he was here last time, maybe it wasn't just Kenwright

Wonder what he will write tomorrow?

I’d expect the time commitment to be much higher than a couple of hours every other day, I’d assume it won’t just be time he is on screen but research, briefings etc.

I think it shows a lack of commitment and professionalism to Everton myself. The only current other Premier league manager doing it is Brighton’s I think.
I totally agree , the world cup goes on for 5 weeks in the summer does he have to run it past FKN first ?
If I was paying 5m to a manager I would want him concentrating on his full time job.
Some people might say that he is learning more about tactics and players on the world stage but this is David Moyes were talking about if a player has no premiership experience he wouldn't touch them with a shi*** stick.
Get him gone

He’s not doing the full tournament.

I wasn't being entirely serious, it just made me laugh that you were suggesting you were only dealing in facts and it was weird not to do that when your entire initial point had been how much trouble we could have been in if things had transpired completely differently to how they actually did.

Again though, the initial point in context was about what a good job Moyes had done in ensuring that we hadn't been worried about relegation for the first time in years. I stand by saying that the context of the points deduction needs to be factored in to that one way or the other, you either acknowledge that the only reason we had concerns in 23/34 was because we had the deduction and so it happening this year isn't the 'clear sign of progress' they were saying it was, or we acknowledge that had we had the same deduction this year we absolutely would have had serious relegation concerns, to the point that we would all have been tuning in to West Ham's game against Newcastle last week thinking that if they won we were probably down.
You've said there were concerns there, the poster who I replied to said there weren't any. That's about it for this now.

Absolute loser, losers mentality, trys to drag the fans and players down with him.

According to some he will all of a sudden turn into Klopp with high intensity attacking football.

Managers very rarely change, even the best. Mourinho, Klopp, Conte, Guardiola, Simeone. Everyone knows the way their teams play. None of them have drastically changed over the years.
