It’s one thing mentioning avoiding relegation when you’ve had two points deductions and sell your best players every window. It’s another when you’ve had over 100 mill spent on the squad.

Having such a flippant attitude to tossing away a morale boosting cup run /getting a pretty big monkey off our backs isn’t something that will endear him to fans utterly desperate for a trophy of any sort !
