‘They’ve missed it’ shouldn’t it be ‘we’
Not really mate because it's not his fault.
‘They’ve missed it’ shouldn’t it be ‘we’
Exactly...terrible leader! When things are good... "We". Distancing yourself with pronouns is a classic politician, sh$t-house move. Believe me Ive interviewed plenty of lowlifes over the years, speaks more to their character than anything else. Self preservation and misplaced delusion of importance...No because he's not responsible unless things are going well. Straight out of the Sam Allardyce playbook.
No not partially, fullyPartially of course. I mean, it’s open to interpretation but I don’t think he is trying to excuse himself or the team. It’s just we aren’t good enough at the moment and need to improve in the summer.
Can hardly be surprised at Moyes's comments, he's always been like that.
But it's his reputation on the line next season if things get worse - which they easily could do. He can say what he wants - if he wants that reputation intact, he's going to have to pull his finger out.
The buck stops with the manager.
Or just use the 3 trump cards that you are given every game to help ease that.We also need a fitness coach. They've looked knackered for weeks.
The problem is plain - the squad isn’t good enough. No not partially, fully
That’s a manager passing the blame to the players and deflecting from himself. Maybe his negative tactics and team selections have contributed to our bottling a good chance of getting into the top 8.
Imagine calling your own team ‘them’. What a whopper.
I’d agree with you there. I do think not having Europe is probably for the best even though we wanted it this season. This team, these players and this manager are not ready for it. I just think the manager needs changing.….not having Europe might just be a plus. Also, I’d imagine a few more Saturday 3pm kick-offs. Of course much depends on the transfer window.
I know - what I am trying to say is, if we don't improve, we could easily go backwards with the age of our team. He's going to have to improve if he wants to maintain that so called stabilitymIf he finished mid table next season mate he would see that as his job done.
The problem is plain - the squad isn’t good enough.
Stuck in the past fc will never do that though, he 'deserves' to see his contract out at plucky little Everton.Need to normalise replacing the manager at the right time rather than waiting till we’ve been damaged. This summer the perfect time for change.
Or maybe he could just come out and say " we havent been good enough in the moment" as the manager, I take full responsibility for my team's performance and we will all work harder and look at ourselves and I promise, we will be better going forward" ...no ambiguity there..Partially of course. I mean, it’s open to interpretation but I don’t think he is trying to excuse himself or the team. It’s just we aren’t good enough at the moment and need to improve in the summer.
