2025/26 David Moyes

6 points from the last 21 is as bad as Dyche.

Completely blew a golden opportunity to put the club back in Europe again.

He can definitely do one for me because no matter what happens in the last 2 games, this is what we have got to look forward to in the future. A sniff of excitement and lots of disappointment. That is how it was in innings 1 too.
Its very disappointing from the position he had got us to bottle it so badly

The whole crux is what our ownership wants.

Not us, we get a say when it's gets worse but honestly not heard a peep from them suggests they are happy with so kiss the boot and pay up.

If it was me, I am 50/50. I want a better manager but I also can see a lot of changes at clubs next season so stability is key after multiple relegations and poor mis-management

Yea it's matters whether they want to really push higher or just have a stable addition to their portfolio. I personally think its the latter. I've heard nothing from them to indicate high ambition, and its clear they dont care about the style of football
Hope I'm wrong

We all are united on the following: we want to feel pride in a team that tries to play good football and win every game they play in.

If we have someone in the dugout who can put that together Ild accept that even with no trophies in the first few seasons.

Just please give us something to be proud of, not this inconsistent maddening style of football.

You do this all the time, profess to speak on behalf of the whole fan base, with your inane talk of protest matches etc, when all you’re really doing is trying to advance your own warped views.

Have a day off you monumental bore.

We aren’t getting Glasner or iriola

It’s moyes.

As @Delargeinho said it’s more frustrating we’ve been so close to get to it and didnt

No way it was a target till it looked
Possible

Nxt season it will be

Definitely, I said I expect a top half finish at the start of the season. I was assuming we get around 52-55 points, which usually gets that, but we've been in reach for Europe for the half of the season and . Of course, you should do everything as long it's possible. The team and manager collectively failed in the last few games.

Moyes in the end will leave the club in a better position as when he took over, to once again lead the team from relegation battlers to have a chance for Europe.

But he won't develop an identity like Iraola or Potter at Bournemouth and Brighton and win titles like Everton did in the 80s.

What if we play the best football ever but aren’t winning? What’s the point in that?

Do Arsenal play the best football? No they are terrible to watch. But in the end, they win and are 3 games away from winning the league and champions league playing some of the most dreadful, dull and boring football you’ll ever see. If Arteta wasn’t Spanish and was English, they’d be labelling his style that of Allardyce, Pulis and Dyche standard.

Forgot he played for us actually. Funny that we signed him and tried to use him as a target man.

All those players he got rid off, reduced the wage bill but didn’t get a transfer fee for any including Maupay. We were so badly run it’s a joke.

Jep, he was signed when Lampard was our manager still, but then Dyche came, I guess we would rather have looked for a Chris Wood type of profile then.

Surely not, especially considering they played brilliant football under Wenger in the early 2000s. I read that they had like 31 clean sheets in all competitions. And you can see Bayern that played probably the best football in all top leagues aside of PSG and Barca that conceded 10 goals in 4 matches against Real and PSG it's hard to compensate with a good offence against the top teams.

There's surely more Moyes in his philosophy than Wenger in the end.
