2025/26 David Moyes

We've spent a fortune on players he doesn't use and he's on course to replicate about what Dyche did in terms of points, whilst our home record is appalling.

We havent spent a fortune. And that doesnt mean all and everything anyway. Otherwise Spurs wouldnt be in the bottom 3 with their 200m forward line and Chelsea and liverpool would be 1 & 2.
I mean i dont get involved in debates over his limitations coz its fair. I was calling him glass ceiling Moyes 20 years ago. He is limited.
But to state he's managing the club badly is utter bullsh!t.

I said fairly badly mainly because he's devalued all of the young players we've bought, Spurs have had a horrendous injury list but I'll agree they've underperformed massively. We're about level par but his terrible management of the young players makes it a fairly bad season imo

Can only look at Aznou and Dibling for that but who stated they had to be a guarentee success in their first year at 18 and 19 years of age. And why is it when people bring up money and signings they leave out dewsbury hall. Could it be their own personal dislike of the manager?
The bottom line is in 14/15 months he's took a team on its arse to being a competetive European shout. Even though i dont think we are ready yet.
In that space of time what more was the expectation. Top 4?
I dont get it.

Let's not get into it again. Moyes has an appalling record against the big clubs. Having him as our manager is like being half a goal down before we've kicked off because of his inferiority complex.

Since we beat City 4-0 in Koeman's first season we have played them 9 times at home and lost all 9 games. People with this idea it is simply Moyes holding us back in these games are deluding themselves.

We also bemoaned our record against the big teams away from home during the Moyes era. After he left, how many did we beat with fans inside the stadium? I can only think of one. Hilariously, United under Moyes in Martinez's first season.

" I think on average if you sign four I think one probably successful, I think that's somewhat the ratio in where it is. "

What's this crap he's spouting now ? Absolute nonsense, considering the thousands of people the club is employing to get the transfers right this is an absurdly low bar.
That’s a direct quote from kinear I think so they’ve clearly seen stats on it.

I suspect that you are right on both counts.

1. I don't think that the majority of match going fans want Moyes replaced, regardless of the views expressed on here.

2. I agree that TFG lack ambition beyond wanting to stay in the division ( I appreciate that your comment was probably tongue in cheek but I think it's accurate anyway)

Ye I don’t mean it being funny mate
