Isn’t that what we needed this year and even next? Realistically do you think it’s wise to roll the dice on someone else when our foundations have barely started to mend?

I don’t trust the new owners. They have done nothing to gain my trust. Just more yanks ruining our game. And our CEO is the ultimate middle manager blagger.

I hear people want Ireola or Glasner or whoever. I don’t see it here. I see trouble as nothing is in place to support such appointments (doubt they would come anyway) We are still scatter gun Everton in the transfer market.
I don’t trust the new owners, what an embarrassing statement, why ??? And kinnear is a blagger 😂
Maybe they both have something you don’t. Ambition

And why give Moyes more control on transfers when obviously the committee and Moyes aren’t joined up in their thinking. Just go and get a manager who’s happy to have young players in his squad
Wants to play football and can actually coach players to get better and give him a 5 yr deal

I have big concerns about letting a manager go into the final year of their contract but that's what I think is going to happen. Especially when you are going to give that manager money to spend.

It's a strategy that risks some extremely short term decisions that will hurt any incoming manager the following season. I also don't think you get the best out of players when they think the manager is about to leave.

The only defence of Moyes is that somebody else might be worse. What cowardice and fear.

What we do know is that Moyes will have us safely irrelevant. The only people that should really suit are owners who wish to nurture their investment and flip when the time is right. Because fans have got to hope for more. Being 11th in the Premier League every year, out of both cups, and reliably defeated in ever-more painful ways in derbies is a largely pointless existence. Far better to take a calculated risk at achieving more than Brighton, Brentford, and Bournemouth can - or are we that scared of our shadows?

What about the belief that Moyes could do better next season or even this season with still 4 games to play? What cowardice to not believe in a manger that has taken us from relegation strugglers to European contenders inside 15 months.

You quote very well run clubs in Brentford and Brighton. Imo the people in charge of those of those clubs would scoff at the idea of getting rid of Moyes at this moment if they had him in charge.

If you say so mate. If this was Iraola who'd taken us from a relegation battle to a chance of qualifying for Europe within 12 months then I reckon there'd be a different reaction. One of which the overriding feeling would be that he needs time.

I see the faults in Moyes. There's a point he can reach and we can say that's enough, but we are a long way away from that and I hope we let him build.

The last thing I will say is that West Ham were in a very similar position to where we are now when they called time on Moyes. How confident are you our next two seasons will go better than theirs?
Moyes’s last 2 season at West Ham 14th and 9th after spending 500mil

What makes you think Kinnear has ambition? Genuinely? The fella is a no mark who’s done nothing in his career.

We weren’t fighting relegation, we’d have finshed 12th or 13th with out the points deduction

Sam Allardyce had us as "European contenders". He took us from a relegation battle to eighth in the same season. Were you crying after him too screaming that he wasn't given a chance to better himself and us the following season?

We've had 13 years to see what Moyes can do. His most reliable trait? Bottling the big games. Hitting his head on his own self-installed glass ceiling. You'd need to be deluded - or very scared - to think otherwise.

Get your banners out then. Show some proper conviction and get him out.

Like when you always ref points total with Martinez, for comparison its not all that. Its league position.

One manager can win a league, another can not with more points. The first manager achieved more.

I dont think so. Moyes got 4th on 61 points - which underlines what a terrible season others had that season. It was a freak occurrence and proved only that footballl throws up such anomalies. The 72 points Martinez achieved underlined that he could get up their with the elite when they were all firing on all cylinders.

Moyes points total this season is going to be a good indicator as to his headroom for us, as he's been financially backed last summer and it looks like he cant use cash to get us to the next level behind Dyche.

We back to "moyes out" then are we?

Ffs, i think todays loss is on moyes but apart from McNeil and gana what else could he of changed.

The squad isnt good enough, simple as.

Where challenging for Europe with two crap strikers, no PL level fullbacks, our cb pairing throughout most of the season has a combined age of nearly 70 and zero pace in the whole team.

Our best, cb has missed nearly all of the season, our best winger has missed half the season and apparently our younger signings aren't ready yet.

Next season if we get what we need in the transfer window we'll easily be challening for Europe and hopefully a cup.

But can we just remember where weve come from in the last 18 months? This is a project we juat need to see where we are next year imo

I say it again and again: until we spend huge amounts of money who do you think is going to take us to where you want us to be?

We had 12 years without Moyes and no one could deliver anything like he did, but people are chomping at the bit to get rid of him after just 18 months of nothing but progress.

You talk about bottling the big games. There haven't even been any since he left due to the fact we've been so bad. Possibly Martinez against United at Wembley, and guess what? We lost that.
