2025/26 David Moyes

Mate, it was a simple random line-up put out after our squad age was questioned.
Age is not a problem throughout the squad now.

If you go by last window.

Keepers don't count.

Aznou - 19
Rohl - 23
Dibling - 20
KDH -27
Grealish - 30
Alcaraz - 23
Barry - 23

George - 20

Average age - 23.125

Stop making me try and work these silly things out, but if our windows keep around that bracket, you wont ever be questioning age..

Now take those players ages and multiply by the number of games started Then divide by pi.

You'll then see the light :)

Hello chum, would you say you backed the Everton Manager that took over a relegation haunted club and produced this in his first year?

If we finish 6 there wont be too many complaints.

But i'll be complaining about the lack of young player development.

You'll of course be complaining about the cup runs...or lack of. Right?

Right Chico?

It's lunacy and/or sheer arrogance to think we of all clubs can dismiss cup competitions.

Give me a cup win over a magnificent 7th any day.

Moyes has proved quite capable over the years of setting a team up to give anyone game so just don’t understand his attitude towards the cups. It’s as though he prioritises the league over everything else.

A good cup run generates a lot of fan satisfaction & goodwill & would have distracted from some of the negativity around home performances.

I have been thinking about this a bit recently and we don't actually know if he has been tasked to do this in fairness Zat. I reckon the brief this year was probably to just get as high up the league as possible tbh. Once things are a bit more solid (maybe some Euroball) I think we will see some of them get a bit more game time imo.

You're killing me mate..

What your problem should be is the use of the age, not the actual squad age.
the squad age is fine, it's how it is used which is what you don't agree with.

Also they might not all work out, but the question was about Age, not use, or how good they are..
