For a team rebuilding there's 6 players in their peak & 3 more about to come into it. The side should have a more youthful weighting with a group of experienced players to guide them through games.

Also, for a rebuild you dont really want many players in their peak as their values would soon decrease.

Thats how I'd do it at least and what people have been advising for Chelsea.

He has been linked to a few jobs but I think he will take Como into the CL first, he is also a shareholder there. Chelsea want a 'yes' man and I'm not sure he is that. What is the obsession with resale value
Of a player is doing well here and is an integral part of the team why sell him
To buy a younger player maybe like Dibling or Aznou that don’t work out
What if we sold Pickford at his peak value and bought someone like Sanchez , where would we be now
Why not keep our best players and add to them over a couple of windows

Age is not a problem throughout the squad now.
