2025/26 David Moyes

As much as I agree with all that are saying it’s on Moyes tonight. I do agree with that.

But them players he picked who you’d of thought would want to prove a point, were all entirely useless & should be ashamed of that performance.
We already know McNeil is pretty useless, Tim isn’t much better and Barry has shown very little so far.

You can’t put that many useless players on the pitch and hope to get something

Seamus LB and Dwight anywhere on the pitch were awful mistakes.

Some of the other players brought into the team have cost many many millions, which is a worry. And in the TTV interview with Angus it was made clear Moyes was at the forefront of ALL signings this summer.

Poor time to pick such a gash team, but he will be fuming at the level of athleticism and aggression of those brought in. Wouldn’t pick any of them for the foreseeable based on that level of effort.

As for Aznou, what the hell is that all about. Don’t bother putting him on the coach next time

Yeah but not everyone has the mental health to not let it bother them. many people watch their teams in the hope to enjoy something for 90 minutes, to just enjoy a break, no one would care about the outcome if they tried their hardest. But many people have a hard life or stress going on, watching multi millionaires not even completing a 5 yard pass and a multi millionaire manager making awful decisions can leave so many people frustrated.

we all know it's not worth letting it change our mood but sometimes that's not a choice, it's a reaction.

That would be frustrating but can happen any game. If you were worried about injuries you'd never play them

Why are we resting for a game in 6 days when we can't win the league or get into Europe?

It's an utter joke.

Given the fact we've gone 30 years without a trophy, I'd be more inclined to rest players against West Ham than I would've been tonight.

I agree, I’ve just said in the match thread,
we all want success but it won’t happen overnight. We need to be patient.

We’ve gone from appalling managers and a mental owner to relatively level headed stability.

We need to build on that, and not throw our toys out of the pram after a cup exit.

From a sanity point of view it’s not healthy to swing to full-on negativity after a bad night.
I agree but what irks me is we win tonight it creates momentum or should do. What’s happened now is there is more pressure on the team to perform on Monday. Unnecessary pressure. We should be busting a gut to do well in the cup but I get the impression it isn’t that important from what I seen tonight.
