He'll be gone once his contract expires. We'll meekly bow out of three more cup competitions in the next two seasons and have two safe mid-table league campaigns before parting ways. Just like last time he was here, I respect the guy a lot but also recognise that he's never ever gonna be a winner.

He's took the piss tonight, particularly out of the 3,000 Blues who went down there.

This is just a continuation of his last stint here as in his attitude to this comp utterly stinks. Making loads of unnecessary changes, putting out sides almost begging to be knocked out resulting in early exits season in season out.

You can guarantee he won't learn his lesson and a raft of changes will be made when we play in the FA Cup. It's no wonder we don't win things with his disgraceful attitude to cup competitions.

Don't slag him off for making a few changes but that formation in the first half was amateur hour.
Didn't help the likes of tim, McNeil not showing up either but he has to take the blame for that.

Just remember everyone, Moyes is the absolute best manager for the job and we’re lucky to have him.

I've always defended Moyes but I can't defend this. I've said it before and I'll say it again - going out of cup competitions with a significantly weakened side should be a sackable offence at this club.

50% our chance of a trophy gone due to an appalling team selection.

Sat here thinking how he can justify what he did tonight? If we don't have a good season that could be it for him at this club and he's just thrown away the best chance to win a trophy. One of those decisions I'll never get my head around and with hindsight maybe he won't either.

Thing for me is Moyes has neglected the bigger picture tonight. Go full strength, roll them over and the feel good factor continues. Instead, we have justifiable questions over his judgement now & loads of pressure on the West Ham game

He will be counted if there's not a win in the next two I guess. West Ham is a must win and Palace won't be an easy game at all.

Get your point but what if we had and say Grealish, Gueye and/or Ndaiye had picked up injuries?
