2025/26 David Moyes

I just can’t understand why managers just don’t play their strongest teams especially when you are in our position. As someone else said, field strongest team, win and keep feel good momentum going with five days to next game then international break. I just don’t get it. On the Stadium tour the other day it talked about how competitive he was with little things he did eg the psychological advantages he wants and then he makes the changes he does. Baffling.

Said before the game had no issue with making changes. Wouldn't have started Coleman left back though.
The players that did start showed absolutely nothing which is disappointing. We weren't much better with the changes either..
I think we maybe forget how poor we have been for years. We are improving. But we are still a fairly average side with poor full backs , midfield that lacks depth and poor striking options.

We need a RB. Ndiaye slides O'Brien in with a nice flick, any other RB in the league goes bombing down the wing, ours sends it straight back to the defender.

Take it on the chin, its essentially a brand new squad collectively, bound to be ups and downs.

Why should we take it on the chin? At what point of 30 years without a trophy, managers not picking full strength side when the players barely play once a week, why do we have to take it on the chin?

I think its ok to say it simply isn't good enough and maybe the manager and the team should be held accountable and they take it on the chin by losing their places or their job because it shouldn't be acceptable where we just say "well that's one we'll have to take on the chin"
