No mate, it's you who doesn't know what they're talking about.
What you're really trying to do is normalise what you feel happens under Moyes. That's not our history, as you claim. I cant be responsible for your lack of knowledge.
They can fit into a system. That's football. A game of combination. Not all of them are superstars or need to be,Right... but you said "Any PL standard player can play any style of football." which isn't true.
And Jags was rapid so how is that a relevant comment?

Of course, because you’re correct and every single football club, manager and scouting department who target specific players to play a specific style of football is wrong. Why even bother when they could just sign anyone really and they will all be able to adapt to the system because they’re professionals. Why did Pep ever get rid of Joe Hart because he was crap with his feet, is he clueless or something? He’s a professional!! It’s amazing that you haven’t been offered a role in football, you seem to be a true innovator.
So are you saying two lumbering oaf centre halves can play a high-line system.
He is saying that. But when it suited him during Martinez’s second season, it was because none of Moyes’ refusenik cloggers could play Total Football and we needed to bring in more specific players to suit the managers system. Agendas are amazing aren’t they.
Never seen someone be so wrong, so often. Consistency is impressive.
That doesn't really work though Dave, you get brought in for your specific style, clubs don't have time to throw that style straight out the window. Look at Amorin at Utd.Any PL standard player can play any style of football.
They're called professionals for a reason.

To many Athletes rather than allround footballers, and you're not just asking a few players, you're counting on a squad.
Look what's happened with Forest, 4 different styles, no time to implement it, yet some very good players there.
Spurs went from Ange to Frank to Tudor 3 different styles.
West ham - Potter - Nuno, and Nuno just had a big window.
4 of the bottom 5 had Nuno in recent years..
To many quick change in styles and look who's hovering at the bottom.
Love it when you throw complete random nonsense into threads as though it’s a fact because you say so.They can fit into a team that wants to play.
We had Jagielka playing a different way under Moyes and Martinez, for example.
It's Time Dave, Football doesn't give you time anymore. What you highlight there is a coaching problem, that's not the same as saying all those players cant play a desired style by a competent coach.
It's Time Dave, Football doesn't give you time anymore.
Why do you think Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth have been able to do what they do, they started it before coming to the premiership and built a set foundation. They don't bring in players for a Coach, they bring in Coaches for the players.
Are you telling me the only reason Doucoure and Gana's failure to spearhead an Everton tika-taka game is sequential managerial failures? There isn't a PL standard player who hasn't played in a variety of different systems in their 'journey' to become a professional player - they wouldn't reach that level if they couldn't adapt.
If you're arguing against that very obvious and correct point then you live in an abstract world where footballers just go through their careers playing one of 'direct' / 'pressing' / 'passing' football.
In fact, different styles are expected off players from game to game, and even within game, in the PL. Look at how we can go from a low block counter attacking game to one where we push up and get on the halfway line and our best players on the ball.
But as said, you and others can just keep peddling your abstractions to justify Moyes if you like...
