2025/26 David Moyes

End of season yes.

Now, no.

Obvious you want him gone, you didn’t want him here anyway.

Overall he’s done ok though, as much as I can’t bare watching Everton these days, he’s got us at the right end of the table.

You didn’t want Martinez gone after two 11th place finishes though, so a little contradictory.
Least Martinez had us trying to play something that looked like football despite being a fraud

He’s been here just over 13 months.

We are possibly set for our highest finishes since 8th under Koeman and Silva.

I’m all for parting company at the end of the season, but doing it now would be pointless.
Exactly

There’s no point sacking him mid season when we’re comfortable in the middle with no relegation risk

He can go at the end of the season if they have someone decent lined up

Sacking someone mid season when we’re trundling along safely in the middle seems like needless chaos that we don’t need

Martinez had us 5th first season...and he didn't have 11 seasons with us to build a team, unlike Moyes, who got about as much cash as Martinez had to spend pro-rata.

Martinez would have us playing with this squad...because he's a coach who can coach players.
Yeah had us 5th with Moyes team.

Then built his own and had 2 x 11th place finishes.

We finished 6th the season before he took over as well, so fair play to him he had a good season.

No point in going over that tired old debate again.

Moyes will go end of season and let’s see where we go from there.

Right lads here’s the plan. We’re going to drop our best left back, to play our best centre half at left back. We’re going to play our fourth choice centre half there instead. We’re not going to play our best right back, we’re going to play our best centre midfielder there. We’re not going to play Illy in his best position, we’re going to play our best young centre midfield prospect there instead. Gana you’ve been poor lately but don’t worry I’ve got your back. Merlin good game against Villa but you need more time to adjust. George not tonight son we don’t want a wide player against the big boys, we need the defence solid . . . Don’t argue with me son I know we’re at home! Dibling, sorry son I forgot you were here, forget the price tag son, I have . . . patience son I’ll slot you in with a pre-season friendly. Anzou - who the f*** is Anzou?

i'd expect them to. i'm more pro Moyes than not but of late i think some of the team selections have been poor so i'm not defending some of the performances I just think people look at Roma and think he's going to be sacked. In my opinion I have not seen any signs that they would be unhappy with a mid table finish. I don't see them getting rid unless it starts to go wrong.
They seem to have leant the lessons from Roma to be less reactionary (esp compared to their early days)

However this summer there are a number young/quality managers who are available for free this summer

That might be a factor in their thinking

If there was just the tiniest amount of fight, the willingness to get in the trenches and lash out like fernandes did to garner late on.

can't beat em, join em.

We play like a gentlemans club in a league full of rogues.

I only want blood and broken bones, is it to much to ask?

Let's see if the owners agree with you and some some ambition...
