2025/26 David Moyes

I can handle losing if you can see a plan that will reap rewards in the future. But every game under Moyes is a lottery it seems and you don't even know what he's actually trying to implement apart from having a physical side and defenders who are picked mainly on how they can stop the opposition rather than how they can effect us as a attacking unit
I’m not sure the players know either, and I’m tending to think they’ve give up on his tactical genius.
Has he actually played a consistent back four or a wining team this season?
It’s like a new formation every week

fair points mate

When moyes came back last season looked like he was more progressive and i was willing to give him a chance…

However with every passing game all his frustrating traits from his first time have come back and least last time he had no subs as had no money

He has a squad this time but refuses to use it

He never knew how to use a squad and he isn't going to learn now. All of his best runs are when he has no choice and has to pick a team hit with injuries and suspensions.

He needs to go in the summer. No point in leaving him in charge to sign a load of players that he won’t pick and the likes of Ndiaye won’t want to stick around for another year in a team playing 7 defensive players every game and playing in home games where you just try and nick a goal from a set piece.
Go now, there is literally zero point in keeping him on as our dour, dull, negative, stuck in the mud, prick manager for another 3 months

I've given him the benefit of the doubt thus far, as he's delivered stability and much needed results away from home.

But today was extremely negative football made all the worse by having 3 of our best players playing out of position, with no changes after we conceded. He can't tell me Rohl wouldn't have been a good sub today. If he wants to say Dibling is useless, fine. But at the very least Rohl should have been on for Gana.

He had to have seen today that it wasn't working.
