2025/26 David Moyes

Iraola? He made an attacking change 1.0 down with 11 men on the field.

Moyes was making his subs after Iraola made his which wasn't to go for a 2nd goal, it was to balance the midfield to compensate for Bournemouth going 2 up top.
Yeah it’s normal to make attacking changes when your losing at half time

It’s hardly a managerial genius move

The other attacking genius move he made was when we had 10 men

Guardiola esque managerial geniosity

As critical as I have been of Moyes, and I felt his team selection yesterday followed the established pattern of opting to include the players he's overly comfortable with instead of rotating the team and possibly incorporating Patterson who could of provided some width and is able to overlap.
At the same time although it was a irksome copitulation, people once again overreacting and making it like we're not still in a decent position currently. I feel like they're have been missed opportunities but this season is definitely not a debacle as others try to purport. Too many weirdos on here frothing at the mouth in unjustified rage

I don't think TFG will get rid in summer but if they do want to change, this summer looks like time to do it - plenty of options available.

It's only away form keeping him in a job. Home form and cups have been horrific.

He's had plenty of time to turn around home form.
Depends if TFG 1st choice target is available and would come. Even if Moyes gets us 8th. TFG may feel it’s to good an opportunity to turn.

To be fair. We're disappointed that we never went 6th last night. However we are still playing crap. Utter crap. So I have no idea how we even are remotely in the position to be battling for 6th!!

We need to keep picking up points and then we have a massive summer. Massive in that we need to keep hold of our best players, Ndiaye, KDH and Brathwaite etc, but also massive in that we HAVE to sign quality fullbacks and new striker or two.. if we don't fill these positions then we may as well give up. But..

At least we aren't Westham! 🤣

We need to spend all our money on
2 full backs. A pacy quality winger and a top class striker. We can loan or get free’s on a number 6 another wide player and cover at full backs

Evening guys, a member of this forum just PMd me and said he’s started a comprehensive excel sheet listing all your comments in the past 24 hours while Everton were 8th in the league and free from a relegation battle in a season for the first time in five years. The esteemed member noted that bloated entitled dars wanting to change the manager every season are the tail that wags the dog and compromises long term progress at Everton, because their inherent need to win all the time is the tail that wags the scabby dog of Everton and suffocates the poor mutt in its attempt for progress. He wanted to add as a footnote 99% of posters in here today were missing since Saturday which makes them snivelling cowards.

I just replied “ok mate” and wait for his findings at some point in the future. Up the toffees lads.
The vaulting that will happen if Moyes leads us out for the first day of next season will blot out the sun.
