2025/26 David Moyes

Tbf, this one slipped through our fingers, Barry missed two sitters and their keeper made a couple of decent saves. However you are right in that recent results has masked pretty poor form

We're on top and he decides to take a winger off for a midfielder.

Go 1.1 and he still decides they're the right subs. Even though he was making them because Bournemouth had made an attacking change.

Subs come on. Shape goes. Go 2.1 down and get a player sent off. Bournemouth then sit in.

Indeed.

Play form over names too.

Too many times has someone had their best game for us, like Alcaraz or Rohl an then legged out the team.

That's been my pet peeve this season.

Gana looks ike father time has caught him since afcon. Mans nearly 40.

Why buy Rohl who's looked good when hes played and not play him at all. Why give alcaraz a 2 year contract and not play him. Same with aznou and dibling.

What else I dont get is where's the game plan from last season gone, it was alot better than this.

I've blamed him for games this season, but not this one.

The players bottled it, completely lost control for 10 mins.

Embarrassing how unprofessional they were in that spell.
It's not a one off though mate,it has happened before this season and on numerous occasions over the last few years under different managers,Jesus you've only got to reference the home game last season against the same opponents🙄👍

It is classic Moyes though. It was turgid for significant spells of his first stint. Get his best team out and im the mood we could play some great stuff too.

Feels like we're in transition. Question is if folk, particularly our owners, want to invest in a Moyes rebuild or look elsewhere.

Neither approach is without risk, missteps, or frustration.
True, but we know what we are going to get with Moyes. For some, that will be enough. Just as we knew deep down that he'd find a way to blow this chance tonight, we know where it ends with Moyes. We had that for 13 years. Life's too short for reincarnation before death.

still dont understand him trying harrison on the wings or as a 10

Never understood why Idrissa came straight back in the team after our midfield was outstanding at Villa. Same with Patterson being dropped after doing nothing wrong. It sends the wrong signals to the squad players that you'll be dropped regardless of performance
He's on the verge of the 'Phil Neville legs falling off point of no return'.

Moyes will play him until he, metaphorically, dies on the pitch.

Poor lad.
