2025/26 David Moyes

Spurs are an absolute Graveyard for managers.

I've never understood managers who's leave clubs were they're doing well to take up a job there.

They're fans are more impatient than ours purely because they've been convinced by Sky that they're top 6 six club when in essence they're a middle table side.

Don't get wrong they turn a pound financially but that has always seemed to be their main aim,The togger comes secondary.

I mean Spurs are very much a top six club. They have finished top 6 in 13 of the last 16 seasons.

I don’t know how much more top 6 you want them to be.

I mean I'll give him this: we've gone pretty quickly to a position where now a bare top half finish will be disappointing.

That said, it's a very very poor league and has been for years now.

Hopefully we get over the line with that euro spot. I'm sure if we do Moyes will get an extension, but it'll be worth it to get greater and proper exposure again for this club...also, the H*** D******** signage will be binned for loads of games and the world will get a proper look at our stadium in it's magnificent environment.

You literally said you'd sell KDH and keep Alcaraz

Why are you ignoring the context?

Ive had the same view on KDH for 3 years. Theres no "gotcha" moment with a stranger on an internet football forum im afraid.

One player is a 10 and the other is an 8.

Pellegrini 2018-19

Moyes 2017–2018
2019–2024

But Pellegrini developed him🤣

Who played Rice as a DM first?
Pellegrini

Who kept Rice as a DM?
Pellegrini.

Who returned to the club and found Rice as first choice DM?
Moyes

Ergo, the manager who played and developed Rice as a DM was Pellegrini.

Not really a topic ive given any thought to.

No doubt this time last year you'd have been saying Thomas Frank was one of those managers and look how that's worked out for Spurs.

Who would you realistically bring in to replace Moyes this summer?

Yet ive not got any memory of this.

So "no doubt" you appear to be wrong.

I'd like to see Iraola for 3 reasons:

1: He isnt frightened of playing young players and develops them well
2: He plays football which is good to watch
3: He doesnt seem to have a glass ceiling

Fabregas also looks a good bet.

Not a Moyes "hater" and am just tired of him not seeing his clear mistakes and seemingly not wanting to evolve into something better.

He could be so much more but, like Allardyce when he had us safe. There seems to be no desire to take himself to the next level.

I’m sure Declan Rice would be glad to read your opinion on his development to clear up his confusion!

Tell you what, Dychey isn’t half struggling in this very poor league that’s been poor for years isn’t he.

Did Moyes also develop Rooney?

Who developed Messi and Maradona?

Its a bit different to players like Aznou, Dibling, Rohl etc to those who are clearly levels above and play each week no matter the manager.

Show me a player or three who has been developed by Moyes as a teenager to become a good premier league player. A player who Moyes has clearly developed and improved through using him and training them up.

Everton need a manager who can do this.
