2025/26 David Moyes

The end justifies the means I guess, but I genuinely think the starting XI today was a big red flag, the type that I've largely ignored when people have pointed them out this season.

If we had lost today, I couldn't have defended him at all.

Anyone remember that win at Bolton where Heitinga scored a last-minute worldie?

Moyes brought him on to hold onto the point and got bailed out by sheer luck. He hasn't changed at all.

Lucky lucky boy today was wor Davey. I think it’s pointless giving him any more players to choose from. Having an XG of 0.000 at half time is a stat for the ages, very fortunate Wellbeck missed a free header and Mitoma missed his one on one.
Not a single brave bone in his body and cannot wait to tamper with a successful formula. I’m not sure what his staff are for at this point either, so turgid.
I dunno - takes some testicular fortitude to go with that lineup!

On paper you take the point away at Brighton but thought they were pretty poor tbh.

Frustrating to not really have a go until the last 10 minutes, think we would have won with a less negative starting line up.
