I'll hold my hands up here. I was totally underwhelmed when we opted for Moyes. I still had a bad taste in my mouth about the way he left and then came, from one of the wealthiest clubs on the planet, to poach our better players at a low price, with full inside knowledge about how we desperately needed the cash. I was glad he did badly elsewhere, even though I recognise the work he did in his first 11 years at Everton. It was kama.

I was underwhelmed because I saw him as a dinosaur. But bloody hell, he's proved me an idiot since his return and I'm happy with that.

Honestly if anyone isn't behind him, I'm not even wasting energy - he will prove it with results.

Welcome home.
I did waste a bit of energy like but was convinced he would come in and do well.

Im sure you will get the odd long term shout still but the reality is that we've been in relegation worries with multiple managers since he left. If we do get to the point we are thinking we want to try and take it to the next level, it means he will have done an exceptional job

But I don't think we are up our own arses like some West Ham fans are. If he won us a trophy and finishing 6th, we'll be made up and he will be more than one of our own again despite the initial doubts, all the crap we've been through...

Was just reading the West Ham forums and it seems that there are some who never wanted him to leave. One particular post said that part of the downfall was a director of football who came in called Steidten who started calling the shots and that led to a demise in form and was the beginning of the end.

I think it's essential Moyes has the power to make decisions going forward with us. I do think Thelwell will allow that which is good. But its important the owners understand Moyes will work best when he makes the final decision on matters and not some outsider DOF tampering with his plans.

I’ve never seen a more remarkable turnaround at everton, and struggling to think of a better one in english football in recent memory, maybe emery at villa

club is transformed, all these players that looked below par or we didnt even get to see play are looking like very good footballers with great characters

there’s a proper spirit in this side. I’m getting 08/09 vibes where no matter who was missing or injured, the team turned up every week and put in great performances with a mix of grit, discipline, skill and moments of brilliance

I’m in love with this team having 6 weeks ago only watching us purely because it was the last chances to go to Goodison

now I’m reading about us every day like a teenager, singing the terrace songs on my way to work, rewatching highlights and broadcasts on repeat. this is a special special time in the club’s recent history. and it’s down to Moyes
Joe royal turned us round

Howe at Newcastle

Emery

Raneri Leicester ?

I’m just thinking of other examples and am. It taking anything away from the job he’s doing

He turned us round first time taking over from smith

Dyche did a job for a year and a half. Just couldn't coach from midfield up
I do think he was a step up from Lampard. Problem is he is the same no matter what players are around. You could have put Arsenals players in Everton shirts and he’d have had them playing the same way we were when he was here which is the same way he had Burnley playing. Thanks for the safety, but my word is he a limited manager.
