…..I hope he gets a contract extension because it’ll mean we’re doing fine.

I still think he has a ceiling though Eggs. If he sees out his contract then that means we have made good progress from where we are currently and will likely sit mid table, which would be fantastic. At that point I would hope we would be looking to push on to the next step, which is where I’d shake Moyes’ hand and thank him for a job well done.

Utterly deluded. Bloody hilarious.
It's now almost 20 years since Moyes peak (Villareal August 2025). He's been downhill ever since.
"Moyes knows a player" my arse. For every one Tim Cahill there's a James Beattie or Per Kroldrup.
Appointing Moyes now is the worst decision in the clubs history.
Yes even appointing the fat waiter had a devilment to it as it annoyed the RS and he had a history of success.
The absolute shame of it now when we're on the verge of a new era with new owners and a new stadium.
At least he'll be gone soon is my only hope but it'll mean we're in a hell of a mess come April.

When Moyes gets it right, he gets it right

Lescott, Pienaar, Arteta, Cahill Howard.

When it's bad, it's bad, which applies to West Ham, Sunderland too.

I don't know if it's a stick to beat him with, but equally it's not a way to praise either.

If he brings fight pride hero’s and team spirit back, we will all be happy.

Yea but he did find players.
Cahill pienaar baines Coleman arteta stones fellaini gravesen ……. There are loads more and more at West Ham too.

Look at the managers since and combined I don’t think they can match his list.
Jags, lescott, captain finger, carsley, yak

The opposite end of the scale:
Billy, beattie, kroldrop, kilbane, li tie, simon davies, upson.

Win matches, that's all that matters at the moment. Get to the summer, see how much dosh we've got, sign a bloody striker or two, and players with pace. Have a well planned out pre season for a change, then we'll see his mettle.

Underwhelming, but he’s been bought in to stabilise things over the next couple of years. Fingers crossed he can take us to BMD without too much drama!
Please god he doesn’t mention Kenwright’s name once in any interviews he does from now until he leaves.
Leave he will but this time on Everton’s terms!

I really don’t think anyone is excited, I don’t think it is possible to be excited. That’s not what this is about though, we are half way through a season and entrenched in a relegation battle because the previous incumbent was absolutely terrible and had us in freefall. So, people unfortunately just have to grit their teeth and bear yet another January-May of looking to pick up more points than the teams directly below us. This appointment was simply about picking the best manager for that task and no more. Hopefully this is the last one of these for a good while, we’ve all had enough of it.

My social media is full of blues absolutely buzzing.

I hope you're right, I hope he doesn't get 2.5 years to put his stamp on things, only for us to change direction entirely.

Think I'm disappointed as I expected a new dawn under TFG, and it just feels like another treading water appointment and I just want to enjoy my football again.

He's an absolute garbage manager, and an utter loser. Our new owners had a chance to make a statement by getting in a manager that would give the entire club a boost but instead they went for this floppy cock of a manager.

Just utter blue tinted glass wearing brigade who think this is a good thing. Then i shouldn't be surprised as most of our fanbase think Moyes getting to a CL playoff is some sort of success.

looking forward to the absolutely awful football in the new stadium. Won't be long before BMD has the echos of booing ringing round.
