The style of football would miraculously get better if the players were better. It’s the same for almost every single manager.

These players are what they are, slow, weak, mentally fragile, unbothered, inconsistent. People get excited when they win a few in a row but they revert to the mean eventually which is bottom half football.

Buy better players, it’s that simple.

Nah don’t agree. We had enough quality to get us 2-0 up. That the players have flunked it from 2-0 up FOUR times this season is not a coincidence, and certainly nothing to do with a referee. The mentality is embarrassing, they are cowards. I’m sure the previous manager constantly telling them how crap they are didn’t do a great deal to help, but Moyes has had enough time to sort that out now so he’s got to take his share of the blame. I’m sick of the sight of all of them.

And with safety already guaranteed, most of them are already checked out for the summer break.

I hope that they at least put in a shift for the last match at the old lady, FFS!

He had some very average players punching above their weight for long enough in his first spell. And I can’t remember too many times we bottled 2-0 leads.

Moyes still played boring football with his best teams. Yes they were functional and it worked more often than not but the argument was always that it was boring. No doubt he’s a good manager but he’s got a ceiling. At the end of the day and especially the way football is these days, as in it’s a bit of a closed shop, I just want to be entertained. I want to see attractive attacking football and where we end up is in the lap of the gods. But I want to be entertained.
