Been thinking about Moyes and the difference he has made.
Basically he has given us some hope back.
Under Dyche we were constantly looking down to see what was behind us, (he did a fine job keeping us up last year)
This season I genuinely wasn't thinking we would get a result agaist anybody, which is just not me, anyone who knows me , will tell you I am daft
I normally think we are in with a chance agaist anybody even when you brain says otherwise.
,But this year i just honestly couldn't see any light at the end of the tunnel, the football was awful, the results were as well.
It looked like the players felt the same , game after game with hardly a shot on goal .
I know the bottom teams are rubbish but so we're we.
I wasn't a fan of getting Moyes back but ,I had come to the conclusion he was the right man to come in right now. When it became obvious Dyche was a busted flush.
He has well exceeded my expectations.
Feels like we are finally getting are club back as a credible Premier league club ,not a basket case swirling around the gutter every year.
All of this really.

Honestly it feels enjoyable and exciting when it's match day again instead of just doom and gloom.

Solid game again yesterday, we actually look like a mid-table team now! Pause comes to a right time, hopefully some players get fit within time, as we urgently need options.

I am quite relaxed and probably the most I've been towards Everton for years as we can go into the last quarter against including 4 teams below us with no fear of keeping the league status or points deductions etc, of course I hope to win them to gain a few positions again in the table.

Find it mad now we’re getting results, nobody gives a toss what our xG is.

According to understat our xG has been pretty much level or better than the opponent in every game since Moyes joined aside from the Palace game where they had double the xG of ours. I think by watching the games though that's obvious, we are not only creating chances in every game, but good chances.

I absolutely hated the idea of him coming back but my mental health has improved massively since, for that alone I’m thankful.

Going into the end of the season without worrying about hoping we can seal our survival is absolutely brilliant and tragic at the same time, this summer is a big big one in our history and I hope we nail it.

DM has to be a bit more adventurous in our substitutions - away managers know Young is coming on - he looked flat-footed for 15 minutes IMO .....

Doesn’t have a lot of options currently does he? Down to the absolute barebones.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Patterson & Chermiti were named on the bench simply to be “numbers” & only if we were desperate.

Agree think it was more dowm to the fitness of some like chermitti patterson. Hopefully in the future could maybe see us try the two if needing a goal. Really happy with the difference he has made since coming back in, can actually enjoy wayching the game now. Even going behind have hope we can get a goal back

He’s playing the hand he’s been dealt to a certain extent I think Joey, but I agree, would like to see some of the younger lads getting on and Davey being more adventurous with his subs.
