With the goal last night we officially doubled or goal tally in 6 weeks from what it was in the previous 5 months.
Im very grateful that on january 9th the decision was made. Its a very sliding doors moment for Everton. Who knows. Who knows if Dyche had put up a fight with the new owners and they stuck with him. Who knows if Moyes hadnt been available.
Either way i look back now and jan 9th was a big day for Everton.
Relegation would have been a disaster.

Had an easy job to get these players motivated. "The last fella said ye are all crap and can't play football. Go and show them".
Rumour has it, he showed them the video of Dyche at Burnley saying "These (Everton) don't know how to win"

Dyche tried the same tactic, but players were confused at seeing 2 Dyche's in front of them and assumed it was an old episode of Eastenders, with the Mitchell brothers.

Even if your eyes were playing tricks on you and you couldn’t see the difference the manager had made to us, here’s some beautiful stats to slap you around the mush.

Continues to make a mockery of the snot encrusted ballsack he replaced.

Thank you gaffer.
Very impressive that. The contrast between him and Dyche is stark.

Think it would have been a travesty to have had Dyche be in charge in the first game at Bramley. Fitting it will be Moysie.

Thought it was interesting that half way through the first half, seeing that O'Brien was being run through, he switched his full backs for a period then switched back. He could easily have hooked O'Brien at half time for Patterson or Young but he persisted and go his reward.
O'Brien took his goal well but also played very well second half.
This is a good example of loyalty paying off. Dyche's version of loyalty seemed to breed apathy.
