Twice, he relegated them twice. How come he got relegated at Burnley despite keeping them up for a number of seasons?

What a man.Twice, he relegated them twice.
There is no need to be terrified about moving up the table Dave. I know we have been near the bottom for a few seasons but don't worry, through GOT, we will hold your hand as we ascend so that you aren't making the journey into the top half of the Premier League aloneThere's no wind up about this. I am terrified about where we're going under Moyes here.

I do agree to a certain extent. I think the dysfunctional board meant we made poor hires. Dyche did well last year in tough circumstances but he is limited. In hindsight, we passed on Moyes a couple of times and we probably should have appointed him but maybe we weren’t quite there yet as a fan base.I think they are both symptoms rather than the cause of our issues
Exactly. I’m happy to give Dyche credit for the job he did in the last two seasons (last season particularly). He did the job he was brought in to do, but he couldn’t make it work this season. Not sure that Dyche was certain to keep us up.
I don’t think, without knowing them personally, we can really say either way.Dyche is a better man than Moyes.
Fella quit on his sword, like a coward, a greedy money grabbing coward is the legacy he leaves behind for me.I don’t think, without knowing them personally, we can really say either way.
I have to say, I’m quite surprised you’re defending Dyche so fiercely. I have always been squarely in Camp Moyes however I had no ill feeling toward Dyche, he did a good job when he came in and through the deductions.
They weren’t sacking him quick enough for his liking and he wanted a payout but not to take us down.Fella quit on his sword, like a coward, a greedy money grabbing coward is the legacy he leaves behind for me.
So did Lampard.
Doesn't mean they aren't both horrific managers who got us in the mess in the first place by being plop.
Yeah I can imagine it was a death of a thousand cuts. He knew there was no way TFG were keeping him and he forced the issue. Probably phoning it in since the summer. They weren’t sacking him quick enough for his liking and he wanted a payout but not to take us down.
That’s my take anyway.

Couldn’t agree more with that.I think it's a matter of honour that we dont throw Dyche under the bus. He did his jib here and he achieved what he was hired to do - keep the club up. He was the only figure we had when the owners went missing and he took the burden of figurehead for us when he really should have had more help from a board who'd deserted him.
