Don't let the facts get in the way.

Gold has a valid point, not sure what the problem is tbh.

He does have a valid point, but I think people are taking issue with him being a massive hypocrite. His lack of response to journos asking him to state what his own clubs' wages to turnover ratio is speaks volumes. West Ham pay massive wages to numerous people, not least £55k a week to new signing Joe Cole.

....I admit to not being smart enough to understand the economics but I do have concerns. One thing that never made sense to me was buying Finch Farm and then selling it under a long term lease agreement to pay for it's infrastructure. I trust that the folk running OUR club are smarter than me and will ensure that long term stability is an objective.

Seek out the one they call Brennan, he knows the finer points of running a football club.

Whether he has a point or not its not really that bell whiffs place to come out of nowhere and post on twitter. It's not even like he was answering a question just sat at home and thought ahh I know gonna post something about efc accounts!???!

Bit strange if you ask me. Sounds like a man with a beef about us or our owners?? Or maybe were gazumping them on a transfer deal??

Either way he's a dick!!

Be fair lads maybe he doesn't know the true definition of madness

On the other hand I'm glad its been acknowledged how truly ****e our board is, although I don't like people talking negatively about us.

I can't win, even with myself.

to be fair to Gold and Sullivan, they have not been afraid to use their own money to prop up Birmingham and West Ham

In that regard it probably does not matter what their wages/turnover ratio is just like any other club who have boardmembers who are prepared to put their hands in their pockets

So its ok for everybody on here to give sh*t to our board about how our club is run but when another bussiness man gives his opinion people start getting all defensive about how its run. Mmm

@DavidGoldWHU: Everton's wage bill for last season was 63.4m 75% of turn over with a net lose of 9.1m according to Charles Sale in the mail. #madness

I'm sorry, but who the [Poor language removed] does this man think he is commenting on our clubs finances when he's the chairman of West Ham, WEST HAM. It has notthing to do with him and also, who the [Poor language removed] are West Ham?

Sorry if there's already a thread on this

Sold birmingham city for £81million, now take into consideration that aston villa a much bigger club with larger fan base was sold for 62.6million

Bought west ham for a fraction of the price and will probably get a stadium that cost 500m to build for free. imagine the price they can sell the club for in a few years time, and people say theres no money to be made in football
