He's a tit but he's not wrong, Elstone himself said that anything over 70% of turnover was a disaster waiting to happen. The main issue though is what Goat said, our negotiations for kit deals and sponsorship is woeful.

David Gold (born 9 September 1936) in Stepney, East London is an English businessman. He was the chairman of Birmingham City until 2009
It was after they sold it to the fella from Singapore that the Brummies ran into financial dificulties. Think he'sstill the owner but all his assets are frozen.

Are people really complaining about us spending too much on wages?? Would they complain if we spent too much on transfer fees?

The league table shows that we getting more for our money than just about everyone else in the league.

West ham are in a contract to buy Andy Carroll for £17m u they stay up, aren't they?

David Gold is not the dildo-monger, that's David Sullivan.

"Gold owns Gold Group International (GGI), the parent company of the retailer Ann Summers, lingerie chain Knickerbox, and owned pornographic magazine company Gold Star Publications (GSP), printing and distribution businesses and until 2006, corporate air service Gold Air International. GGI was jointly owned by David and his brother Ralph, until David bought out Ralph's share in 2008"

....I admit to not being smart enough to understand the economics but I do have concerns. One thing that never made sense to me was buying Finch Farm and then selling it under a long term lease agreement to pay for it's infrastructure. I trust that the folk running OUR club are smarter than me and will ensure that long term stability is an objective.
