What a time to be an Everton fan :(
I hate the performances under Silva, its been as bad as Koeman, but to go back to Moyes after so long where both he and us have failed to take any steps up is incredibly small-time.
There has to be a better alternative out there. I refuse to believe it really is down to a rock and hard-place.

For me Sam Allardyce is still the best option if silva was to leave and we wouldn't be in this horrendous position in the first place if he stayed. If I was moshiri I would be begging sam to come back and give him proper assurances of building his own team. No more of these stupid continental type garbage with a dof and coach. A proper experienced premier league manager with backing and funding to make Everton great again.

I don't think he would come now, he thought he was going to get a full 2 years and we let him go after half a season because we thought Marco was a better long term option

This should not be the choice. Probably the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to this club (which is saying something) if it ends up being so.

Moyes we get passion, determination & a decent league position top 8....

Silva we get a lacklustre team with a clueless manager...

Moyes loves this club, knows the club & believes in this club...

We need Silva out, but the second coming of David Moyes, is not what this club needs. How depressing, as far as the board are concerned, Marco Silva and David Moyes are the only two candidates for the job.I said this before but Everton is a huge club, with a small club mentality and outlook in the boardroom. It's so obvious that the plan, is to just plod along in mid table mediocrity, until the stadium gets built.

This move has Bill Kenwright written all over it.Hoepfully if true, it will only be until the end of the season.

I'd almost rather get relegated with Silva than have him back such is my dislike of Moyes.

The absolute state of us right now, bringing him back would only add to it.

What a shambles.

Moyes every day and twice on Sunday.

We just need hope, something fresh, resilience. Anything to cling to.

We’ve got all the durability of a Rich Tea light. We need a steely determination. Something we had in abundance under Moyes.

Moyes is the absence of hope, in so many ways.
