Silva for me.

We're awful at the moment, but I'm sure he'll go on a run some time in 2020 which gets us enough points to ensure we start next season in the top flight. At that point ( May / June ) we should then look for a long term replacement who has a chance of taking us forward.

If we knee jerk and appoint Moyes, then he'll go on a run some time in 2020 which gets us enough points to ensure we start next season in the top flight . At that point, Bill will try desperately to get him signed on a three to four year contract and we'll risk just end up accepting our place as plucky little Everton.

You don't win things, or deserve to win things unless you're willing to take risks. A Moyes appointment would destroy any confidence I have in Brands and Moshiri.

What about Benitez mate.

We won’t go on any run in 2020 if silva is still there . There is the conundrum

Proven manager, would be better than what we've had for a long time, so I'd swallow my pride and accept him if he was available.

My main concern with him wouldn't be him slagging us off in the past, my concern would be if he has the drive and ambition left to do the job. Buying his contract out would be hugely expensive too, so I can't see him coming.

I like that point.

Since there was no neither option I went with the lesser of the evils in Moyes and I feel really, really dirty about it. I had planned to go to either the Leicester cup game or Burnley in and around Christmas as my first game since January but if either are in the dugout then, I'll save my money

So lets see then, the choice is either:

a) Someone who has somehow managed to achieve a worse record than Koeman, has never came from behind and won a game in his entire tenure in charge and has completely flunked up a dream start to a season leaving us lingering just above the relegation zone with a torrid run of games to come.

b) Someone who spent 11 years at the club but didn't win anything, was so loyal to us that he spent the last few months of his tenure having secret meetings with manure and lying to us saying that he wasn't going anywhere, then fecked us off instantly and tried to buy players that he had previously tried to keep when he was here, has been sacked from 2 clubs, relegated in another and has been out of work for 18 months.

Add an option for neither please as neither of them are anywhere near good enough to move us forward.

The state of Everton football club ffs.

Re: The Myth Moyesiah:

His win percentages since Utd:

Sociedad: 28%
Sunderland: 18%
West Ham: 28%

Just Dire.

As bad as Silva is he's still over 30% right now on the season. Wait until better becomes available and Brands should have been working his connections weeks ago on this!

I think thats my main problem, I dont have a guy.

In the past ive always had a guy I can get behind, but this time ive got nada.
