You'd love him to come good as he's a blue and used to catch games when he could but its seems a bit of a risk, great for back up but not so good if were going to depending on him for our goals.

Thats how I see it anyways.

Thing is, there wouldn't be much downside to him since some desperate Championship club would always pay a couple of million. And there is always the potential that he could come good (although probably be like Jeffers' second coming). It's more a commentary on Lukas's prospects and how short we are of a bob if he does come.

quite simply, can anyone imagine him spearheading our usual 451 formation as the lone striker? it's a tough job for any striker.

That comment inspired me to check on the OS to see what happened to that other dead-cert teenage striker we spunked a million on - Scott Spencer.
Stunned to learn that while Lukas is only 19, Spencer is 21 in Jan and still hasn't made it out of the academy.

Shouldn't he have shown some sign of coming good by now or are they planning on keeping him there until until he retires just in case like?

Nugent for £2m or under would be good business imo. We'd have snapped him up at that price 2 yrs ago.

no, we don't want "KENWRONG" because he's skint & tells porkies, oh yeh - he's also planning on moving us from goodison park, but mainly because he's skint.
