Gibson is the least of our worries. I doubt that he is on a big contract and it expires in the summer anyway.
At the end of this window , if there are any clubs who have not been able to sign a central midfielder in his mould then they may take a chance on him.

I may be very mistaken, but I'm fairly certain he signed a two year deal in the summer

I'd keep Barry on for his experience and give him a role with the coaching staff, he's clearly a boss role model and knows the game well enough, Gibson I would plant a bag of beak in his trainees and call the police.
