Would you start him mate if he was fit considering he's been out for so long? Or do you reckon he'd be a good sub to have on the day?
It depends mate...if he's on the bench this weekend then possibly, if it's his first game back with the squad I'd stick Osman there.

Didn't Martinez in his presser last week say he was arranging a behind closed doors match for Jags to take part in and see how he gets on after recovering from injury?!

If so it could be possible to give Gibbo a run out if he's fit enough, see how he comes through that. If he's fine and as no reaction to the knee, he could then be considered for selection possibly if he's deemed fit enough?!

Hope he gets a decent, injury free pre season under his belt. Shame what happened to him last year because you could tell he was really getting up to speed just as he was forced out again.

What's Gibbo up to? I hope he is not thinking about playing for ROI prior to the PL kicking off.

He's not in the 29 man squad - neither is James Mc

Forde, Elliot, R Keogh, Wilson, Coleman, O’Shea, Pearce, Kelly, Delaney, Duffy, Hendrick, Clark, Ward, Whelan, Green, McGeady, Pilkington, McClean, Quinn, Meyler, Hoolahan, Keane, Long, D Murphy, Walters, Doyle, Stokes, Cox and Sammon.

Great to see Gibbo back. Didn't look too rusty in my opinion. Pinged the ball around with aplomb. Hopefully he'll stay fit throughout preseason and give us some another option when either Barry or McCarthy needs a breather.
