Time looks to be catching up on Nev.

However he represents our club impeccably. The squad travelled back up to Liverpool tonight on the train. Nev came out of the players carriage and got involved with all the fans.

He then dragged Straq out who was met with rapturous applaud. He also took a young lad into players carriage to get autographs.

What ever you think of him on the pitch, he is a class act off it.

No matter how much he frustrates you as a player, I think he is an absolutely fantastic ambassador for Everton. The guy is blue to the bone and considering how much he won at Man Utd (he could have hidden in the reserves for them for years), shows he is dedicated to this club.

I think he should get a coaching role as soon as possible, but the guy is a true gent.

You can't pick a player for what he does of the field.

I think he means that and yes that is correct. Though Neville is a great guy off the field, he provides nothing to our team when he is on it (maybe some leadership but Heitinga is no slouch in that either)

If Neville is so good off the field, we should keep him there.

But that's just my opinion.

I'd rather have almost anyone else there, but like you guys said, he's pure class off the field, and that's not something to be ignored.
