No chance. Chased down everything, absolutely killed it defensively right up until he got subbed. As I said did nothing but watch Gibson and he worked and worked.

Yeah, this. I think today was one of his best games for us.

He and Neville were really efficient in closing down players and breaking up their play. It allowed Fellaini the freedom he had tonight. Was pretty tidy with his passes as well.

Spot on. There was one particular incident just before he came off where Blackpool caught us on the counter attack and he made a superb chase back and block to stop them getting the ball into the 6 yard box. Setting in well now.

I think he does a lot more than people think, he is not a player to get the ball and run past 3 or 4 players with skill, he is very good at breaking up the play then just passing to the players like drenthe who can take players on, i think he has done a lot better than people think.

"He needs time" seems to be the general feeling, from people who know him.

He's played well in almost every game imo, definitely getting into the groove more now too.

Didn't expect him to be a world beater, but who did? He's a solid player who will only get better, and he's allowing the best to come from others by giving them more space. It's no coincidence we're seeing Fellaini all over the pitch now.
