Just scan read thru all 55 pages, few people on here really dislike him and don't rate him at all. Thought they might have come around eventually but not so far.
Did these same people rate Carsley or the pre-gashness Neville?
He's playing the David Batty role well and has much more to his game than the basic Batty model in that the ball can actually go forward from his passes, he's got a shot with either feet (and the balls to use it), and he's got a lot more pace than you realise and chases back like a dog.

(edited for grammar and to break the wall of text)

I for 1 was highly unimpressed with his signing, I had watched him for United a few times and thought he looked decent, but then he just dissappeared and suddenly we signed him.

His first few games I did feel as tho he went missing at times, but I think thats how he goes about his business.

Hes never gonna set the world alight, but hes doing a great job for us most games, looking like another bargain gem picked up from Moyes the master.

He knows the correct place to be on a football field. Him and Fellani seem to alternate very well in 1 holding and 1 going forward.

He doesn't need to be a world beater in his position. Leave that to the ACM, 2 wingers and striker.

Im warming to Gibbo. He allows Felli to be boss, When Felli is Boss we are Boss so Gibbo is Boss.

FFS Everton, Your too Ace.

He brings so much more than that. In the first half especially against WBA, he was spreading the play and making space like I haven't seen everton play in years. He is a very good player with a footballing brain and he will get better.

I Agree mate , Just couldnt be arsed writing it all

He's boss. Can become a mainstay of this new Moyes side that's threatening to come together. Fellaini and Gibson sat behind Jelavic with some half decent AMRLC's in between them sounds tasty, and has plenty of longevity. What's more in Rodwell, Barkley and Gueye I'd hope we already have at least two players able to fill those spots for years.

Moyes might've built a decent little side here on the sly. We're not going to be 12/13's version of Spurs, but with the players we've got we could replicate what Newcastle have done this year.

If we started our season in August rather than January though.

Absolutely brilliant today. He and Jelavic were by far and away our best. Will have a big part to play at Wembley.

What an absolutely boss January we had. Every signing was bang on the money. I really like Gibson. Next season holds promise for him.

We have to survive the transfer window and keep Jelly healthy given that our No.2 (Straq) in all likelihood wont be around. Teams are going to come sniffing around Fellani Man Utd, Arse, Chelsea and even City (because he destroys them) could all use him. Given his wages Pinnear is going to be tough to keep. Though he seems to want to stay now, Johnny H has talked of leaving in the past. Also who knows if Jelly keeps scoring like this we might have another problem.

Felli won't leave this season due to him just signing a new contract so the transfer fee would be huge. I'd say the Sky 4 teams will be looking to come in for him next Summer.

Pienaar wants to stay and according to LCAB the deal is practically done.

Johnny ain't going anywhere this season. He's in line to be the next captain imo and seems to love the club now that he's finally getting the treatment he deserves.

I'm strangely positive about the Summer really, particularly if we manage to get ourselves into Europe and have a strong finish in the league.
